Lately, Apple seems like it has been working hard to grab attention for developers (with editors’ lists), magazine publishers (with Newsstand), and now the podcast pushers. They’re trying to facilitate discovery through giving each thing as many special places as possible.
Podcasts seem like one of those small (dare I say disruptive?) ideas clearly aimed at the gut of the big media distribution companies, but their influence so far has been pretty slight…. (read more).
